Make Paper Roses from Doilies

Turn pretty paper doilies into a bunch of beautiful roses in this free and easy project from Now I Can Paper Craft by Tansy Wilson (GMC Publications, 2017).

You will need:

  • Paper lace doilies (minimum 8-1/2 inches/22 cm in diameter)
  • 10-inch (25 cm) precut lengths of green florist wire, SWG 18 (AWG 16, 1.2 mm), same quantity as doilies
  • Florist tape
  • Scissors
  • Cocktail stick (optional)

Tip: To start the spiral off, wrap the cut end of the doily around a cocktail stick and use it like a rolling pin.
